Great Plains James

James Dean, or Great Plains James, is a photographer in Omaha, NE. He takes photos of the sprawling midwest, and lots and lots of musicians. He’s kind of the man around town when it comes to band photos. He wanted a identity system that would invoke the idea of the Nebraska and the larger midwest. To accomplish this, I created a logo from the state flower: the marigold.
